Iggy Azalea Blasts Playboi Carti For Avoiding Son’s First Christmas Together

All Iggy Azalea wanted was to make her child’s first Christmas special, but looks like things aren’t going as planned for the rap star.

After Playboi Carti’s album dropped, Iggy took to Twitter to call him out for not spending the holiday season with their son. Azalea revealed Carti switched plans last minute to throw an album release party after promising a vacation for the family.

“Imagine not flying out your family on Christmas but you have the girl you cheated on my entire pregnancy at your album party and magically me and my son can’t come for Christmas anymore,” Iggy wrote in a series of tweets. She continued, “This man had a whole family vacation to planned 48hrs ago & I hope this message gets to you girl. Although you hid in a whole closet from my house keeper so it’s not like you have any dignity I guess.”

Iggy doesn’t deserve this, especially at the expense of her baby boy Onyx. It confuses me how anyone can applaud this behavior, but Carti’s wave of in the closet fans came to “ratio” the multi-million dollar rapper under her posts for rightfully calling out their favorite for being an unsupportive father figure.

It takes courage to speak on such a personal issue like problems in the family, especially when you are a public figure. We applaud Iggy Azalea for calling out this behavior, it needs to be addressed. Industry men are to comfortable treating women like complete shit and thinking they can get away with it because they’re “superior”, you aren’t, you’re trifling sir.

Iggy clarified on Twitter that she didn’t decide to share her experience out of bitterness, stating “To clarify this man was literally at my house last night telling me he loves me. So this is very much NOT me being bitter, it’s me not ducking with trifling ass shit that happens at the expense of my son.” From the start, Azalea has been adamant that both parents will be involved in their son’s life, it’s easy to see why she’s disappointed about her son’s first Christmas.

Fans online couldn’t help but agree with the new mother, take a look at some reactions to the situation below.
